Ingredients for Poori Sabzi
Poori
- Maida
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Water
Sabji
- Potatoes
- Five spices (Panch Phoran)
- Green chillies
- Salt

Preparation
Poori
- Take maida in a mixing bowl
- Add white oil and mix well
- Add salt to taste and mix well
- Keep adding water and knead the maida into a soft dough
Sabji
- Chop potatoes into small cubes
- Slit the green chillies from centre
Cooking
Poori
- Heat white oil in a deep frying vessel
- Take a very small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball
- Grease the dough ball with oil and roll it into small Poori
- Put the rolled Poori into the oil
- Gently tap the Poori till it puffs and becomes light brown on either side
Sabzi
- Heat very less quantity of oil in a vessel
- Add green chillies
- Add five spices (Panch Phoran)
- Mix well and fry till the spices starts to splutter
- Add chopped potatoes
- Add salt to taste
- Mix well and fry for 3 minutes
- Add little water and cover the vessel with a lid
- Repeat the above step till the potatoes are boiled
- Make sure there is no excess water in the vessel
Your hot and yummy Poori Sabzi is ready…
